Are you dreaming of a fresh, rejuvenated face this Christmas? As anyone who’s ever cooked a festive roast dinner will tell you – timing is everything. Just as you wouldn’t roast the turkey in November or stir up a Christmas pudding on Christmas morning – you need to give each treatment the right time it needs to achieve the results you are looking for.
Our signature consultation
Every Christmas treatment plan begins with a consultation that’s all about you.
We’ll talk about what you see in the mirror; what you want to lift, smooth, plump or define. Besides your medical history and your experience of previous aesthetic treatments, we’ll also talk about your Christmas plans. We can plan and schedule treatments to ensure you are feeling and looking your best on your target date.
Recipes for target results
… smooth and lift
At Clinic Sese, we only use genuine Botox treatments to inject small carefully measured doses to pin-point specific muscles. By relaxing particular dynamic parts of the face, this treatment will smooth wrinkles and reduce fine lines.
Botox is especially useful in treating lines around the eyes or on your forehead, as this is where people typically see lots of dynamic movement in their face.
Time: Botox is best scheduled for two weeks before special events. This will closely coincide with our two-week review of your initial treatment. This gives me an opportunity to review the effects of the Botox treatment and to apply any additional doses if required.
Duration: The effects of Botox treatment generally last for 3-6 months.
… plump & lift (plus brighten under eye shadows)
Fillers are used to replace volume in lips and cheeks that has been lost due to the natural process of ageing. They can also be used for soothing deep or fine facial lines, or contouring and defining jawlines and chins. Fillers are also a flexible and effective treatment that can offer an alternative to facelifts or rhinoplasty as well as addressing eye issues such as dark circles or deep tear-troughs.
An aspect of aesthetics that is very useful is that treatments can be reversed either by time, or in the case of fillers, by dissolving them. If you aren’t happy with your existing fillers, this is something that we can resolve and we can talk about this in your consultation.
Time: The impact of fillers will be visible immediately.
Duration: Fillers can last for 6-18 months. It depends on lifestyle factors as well as how dynamic facial muscles are. This is something we can talk about in our consultation.
… hydrate and rejuvenate
Profhilo is a patented treatment of injectable collagen and elastin boosting hyaluronic acid. It’s a great treatment for rejuvenating ageing skin – essentially tightening, smoothing, rehydrating and brightening the complexion. It’s suitable for use on the face, neck and décolletage and is popular thanks to the way it can dramatically improve skin texture and elasticity.
Time: The standard protocol for treatment time is two initial treatments, four weeks apart followed by maintenance every six months. Alternatively the protocol can be one treatment every three months depending on the are to be treated.
…. lift, smooth and tighten
Thread lifts are a relatively new, non-surgical procedure that offer a great longer-lasting, alternative to Botox and Fillers. There are lots of different types of threads; each one is designed to lift specific areas such as mid-face, lower face, jaw, neck and décolletage. Some of the smallest threads create subtle but significant changes to the face by smoothing fine lines, improving skin quality, tightening the chin and/or jawline, reducing eye bags and lifting lips.
Time: The results of thread lifts are immediate.
Duration: Thread lifts are a long lasting treatment that continue to be effective for two to three years.
Once more, with feeling
Unlike Santa, clients don’t just see me once at Christmas-time. Nearly all aesthetic treatments are followed up with a second appointment to top-up or review the results. I love these appointments and I think my clients do too. They express all kinds of emotions from relief to confidence when they describe how they ‘recognise’ themselves in the mirror again.
Isn’t it time you booked your consultation and worked on your Christmas wish-list?
